To connect holistically Non-governmental Organizations with hospitals across the globe for timely and free medical supplies and make health care facilities greatly accessible and affordable to everyone.
Citizens for Hope is the vision come true of Vineeth Reddy, who at 17 years of age envisioned that Service to Fellow Human Beings as the ultimate goal of life. The untold suffering of poor and unprivileged in India during the COVID-19 pandemic has strongly motivated Vineeth Reddy to do his part. He established Citizens for Hope to bridge Non-Government Organizations working for poor and unprivileged COVID-19 patients with public and private hospitals to further prompt medical supplies, and provide the needful health care facilities.
To begin with, the focus of Citizens for Hope is on the needy and unprivileged communities of the Coastal Andhra region of India. In the future, the dedicated services of Citizens for Hope will have PAN India coverage.
Vineeth Reddy is different to other children of his age. He is overwhelmingly sensitive to the plight of fellow humans. Instead of following the watch and let go attitude, he is moved by an undulating spirit to address the plight and suffering of the poor and unprivileged during the COVID-19 pandemic. When he visited his home town in India during COVID-19 he witnessed the misery, plight and extremely pitiable condition of the poor. Instead of remaining passive to things happening around him, he initiated the process to connect NGOs with hospitals in India which are ready to ensure medical supplies and health care facilities as part of their social responsibility. This momentum of change ushered by Vineeth Reddy will capably address the immediate medical and health care needs of the poor and unprivileged of his native place, and across India.
Vineeth Reddy loves to face the challenges of life. He prepares himself to confront change with clarity of thought and resounding action. Surely, his leadership qualities are bestowed on him by his mother and father, and the ideal family values he cherishes to relay to everyone. When he visited his home town in India during COVID-19 he witnessed the misery, plight and extremely pitiable condition of the poor. What really shocked him was the pitiable condition of poor who have lost their livelihoods, and went hungry for many days. He wanted to address this condition with a timely solution to connect NGOs with hospitals for medical supplies, and basic healthcare facilities.
A number of NGOs in India have been working for the COVID-19 affected households and communities. The immediate concern was to extend free medical supplies and basic healthcare facilities to the households and communities across India. Citizens for Hope contributed in its own way in strengthening the NGOs by connecting them with dedicated and service-oriented hospitals for free medical supplies and basic healthcare facilities.
Hospitals and philanthropists have extended all help and support to the needy and unprivileged during the COVID-19 times. In India, service-oriented hospitals have tied-up with NGOs to reach out to the COVID-19 affected communities. The hospitals wanted to realize their social responsibilities with free medical supplies and basic healthcare facilities. These efforts of hospitals to reach out to the communities were filled with challenges. Citizens for Hope rose to the occasion and provided for the greatly needful collaborative efforts by NGOs and hospitals in India. The idea is to ensure medical supplies and health care facilities as part of their social responsibility.
Citizens for Hope works as a bridge between dedicated and service-oriented NGOs and hospitals. Our efforts are aimed at providing medical supplies and basic healthcare facilities for the needy and unprivileged in India.
